Event in Jonesboro: Animal Cruelty Prevention Month!

Northeast Arkansans for Animals (NAFA) is holding a "Tower of Terror" exhibit this Saturday, April 19th at our local Petco, on Caraway Road in Jonesboro.

Schedule:
9:30a.m.  Tower will be erected in Petco's parking lot.  Will feature nearly 100 photos of abused and
               neglected animals, all from Northeastern Arkansas.

1:00p.m.  Community Event highlighting the "Stop Animal Cruelty" month
               "What the public can do"
               "What to do if you see or suspect animal cruelty or neglect"
                Free bandannas, treat bags, balloons
                Purchase a red or blue temporary Paw Print Tattoo to show your support throughout the week!

3:30p.m.   Individuals (& your pets!!) will place roses on the Tower steps in tribute to abused and neglected
                pets. 
                Individuals receive a "Paw" charm for key chain or dogs collar
                Individuals may purchase the red roses for $1.00 each in honor or memory of special animal
                 loving individuals or pets.
                Red rose/ and Memorial/Honorary cards will be placed on the fence surrounding the Tower
                NAFA will announce a new program to assist an animal caught in the web of Domestic Violence
               (ASH-  Animal Safe Harbor)

8:00p.m.   Candlelight vigil-  Tower of Terror will be lit with more than 100 candles.  Individuals are asked
                to stop by for refreshments and to pay tribute to the less fortunate animals in our community. 

 The public is invited and asked to please please please stop by and show support for this wonderful local group, NAFA, and the local animals here in Northeastern Arkansas!
